Dr. Melissa Weber brings expertise in research from her experience in academia. She is a social scientist with an intuitive understanding of finances and a comprehensive understanding of research at all stages from proposal to completion. Dr Webber has a passion for research management and strives to solve big ocean challenges by handling the administrative side of research projects. 

Melissa’s connection with the ocean evolved when she started her PhD and began working with coastal Arctic communities in Nunavut.
